This document is a warrant for the arrest of Ann Grafton and two enslaved people, named Cuffee and Quoma, for the theft of a number of items from three different households. On the reverse side, Constable William Nichols replies to the warrant, describing his arrest of Grafton, Cuffee, and Quoma, 25 July 1748. This is a printed form completed in manuscript.
